Dr. Byram is a fourth year orthopaedic surgery resident at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.  He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a Morehead Scholarship and remained at UNC-Chapel Hill for his medical degree as a Cobb Loyalty Fund Scholar.   He has recently accepted a fellowship position at the Columbia University Center for Shoulder, Elbow and Sports Medicine in New York.  His clinical interests include disorders of the athlete’s shoulder, shoulder reconstruction, health care policy and medical missions.
